His Favorite Colors: Black and Blue
Highlights (or more appropriately, lowlights) of this week:
Tuesday afternoon: Jude falls, forehead first, into the corner of a wall while trying to escape me in my attempt to wash his food-covered face. Result: Cut and small black and blue mark on forehead.
Wednesday night: Jude falls off the bed and hits his forehead on a dumbbell. Result: Crying. Large (LARGE) goose egg and black and blue mark on forehead.
Thursday afternoon: While playing on the bed, Jude runs, forehead first, into the wall the bed is butted up against. Result: More crying. Then, a nap.
Friday: Jude spends the day being fussy. I discover two new teeth in the boy’s mouth. One is a molar. Result: I forgive Jude for being fussy.
