Jinxed
Yeah. So, do you remember that flowery entry I posted on Friday night? The one about how Jude and I have great fun together when it’s just he and I? The one about early bedtimes and easy nap times? Remember that one?
Yeah. Well, that was a complete and total lie.
Overall, Jude and I had a pretty terrible weekend. I was sick and exhausted. He was tired and cranky. He refused to go to bed early and refused to sleep late. He cried. And screamed. A lot. I did, too.
What? You want to know what’s for dinner this week? Honey, I haven’t been able to think more than five minutes into the future since Josh left for his youth retreat on Friday. I imagine we’ll consume a lot of rice and beans and a lot of leftovers.
One last thing before I turn in for the night. This Friday, the Naked Redhead and I are going to resume our (revamped) crossover series of blog posts. We’re calling it Friday Firsts. On the first Friday of every month, Red and I are going to write about a “first” in our lives… first boyfriend, first kiss, first marriage (ha!), so tune in for that.
