Full Disclosure

In the interest of full disclosure, I feel it necessary to inform you, the people of the internets, that while “Chicago Jillian” is indeed a vegetarian, “Scranton Jillian” loves the taste of meat in her mouth.

That’s what she said.

Ay-oh!

For lunch today, Josh, Jude, and I indulged in a chicken salad croissant sandwich from the notable Zummo’s Cafe. It’s honestly the best chicken salad sandwich in the universe. The sandwich is made by mixing the perfect quantity of celery pieces, a smattering of cranberries, and *just enough* mayo into a heaping serving of finely shredded chicken meaty goodness. Sometimes it’s served on a pita. Today we got it on a croissant. Either way, this sandwich is pure heaven.

While at Zummo’s, Josh and I enjoyed a cup of coffee. I can’t remember what two roasts we sampled, but they were both fantastic. I’m really looking forward to taking a few pounds of beans back to Chicago with us.

  1. Chicken? Please. Chicken is like tofu on legs. Call me when you break your fast of all things meaty with a nice juicy cut of beef.

  2. Dear Sam-On Friday I ate a burger at The Banshee. Love, Jillian.
