FAIL. Again.

The past two days have been hellish. Between Jude giving up his nap and Josh being sick, sick, sick, well… let’s just say that we’ve all seen better days.

I thought today was going to be different. Jude slept for 13 (THIRTEEN) hours last night, and it was a SOLID sleep. He woke up happy. (Actually, at around 5am, Jude turned to Josh, said “I happy,” and gave him a kiss.) We had a nice morning–ate some good food… watched a movie. And, we had planned to go to the library with some friends, so both Jude and I had something to look forward to.

And then he pooped. He pooped the sort of poop you just don’t write about on a public blog. It’s just not decent to talk about such things.

So, now he’s in the tub. Because he needed a bath. And we’re holding off on the library until we know for sure whether or not this tummy issue is a one-time thing or if we’ve got a real sickness on our hands. And since I made the mistake of talking to Jude about getting ready to go to the library with our friends, he’s now miserable. Again. Just like he has been the past two days.

*sigh*

  1. Stay strong, Lady! Epic poops that do not kill us make us stronger. And he will continue to learn that he can indeed recover from disappointment. No one has failed. Craptastic? Yes. Fail? No.

Give a call if you need some adult venting or someone to stop by with chocolate.

    Hugs!
