Would you like to know what I’m most looking forward to doing this Spring/Summer/Fall?
Hitting up all the local farmers’ markets. Like crazy. Here’s our produce schedule:
Wednesdays-Bike to Lincoln Park for Green City Market in the morning. CSA pickup in the afternoon.
Saturday-Farmer’s market in downtown Evanston
Sunday-Gleenwood Farmers’ Market in Rogers Park
So, while I may not be able to grow my own veggies (due to lack of sunlight and space) like the awesome Snarky Vegan or Rob, I’ll still be able to get (more than) my fill of fresh, local produce (and more!) this year.
