Filling in the white space on my “About” page has always been a bit of an obstacle for me. I never know what to write or how to write it. That probably explains why I haven’t updated this thing in at least three years. Moving on.

I’m Jillian. This is my blog. I primarily write as a way to chronicle my children’s lives. I also enjoy writing about food.

I am married to Josh and I am mom to Jude and Ramona. We all reside in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood with our two cats, Graham and Cirrus.

My days are spent playing with Jude and Ramona, cooking, cleaning, and (not often enough) reading. My favorite books are the Abhorsen Chronicles, my favorite season is Autumn, and my favorite drink is Jameson on the rocks. I don’t like bugs, camping, or the word “panties.”
